Vision of loveliness

Since I haven't posted one of my Deborah Lippmann's in a while, I thought I'd do so today.

My favorite polish by DL so far is  Mermaid's Dream. Most of you who are into polish know it already. It's a huge hit back in the states and from what I can gather, it's kind of hard to come by because it sells out pretty quick.

Luckily, in Japan it's not that famous and I can pick up bottles at the nearest shop. Bad news is that it's nearly double what it costs in the states. >.<';;;

 Gorgeous, isn't it? I get so many compliments when I wear this colour!

 It looks just as good on your nails as it does in the bottle.

 It's very pigmented and two coats will do it.

 It also dries fairly flat. I just put one coat of Seche Vite over my nails. It did the trick!

Deborah Lippmann is available at selected Plaza stores, like the Esola shop in Ikebukuro. It's also available online from her Japan website and of course, from Ebay.

  1. I'm not at all surprised you get compliments--it's such an eye-catchingly gorgeous polish! I'm surprised it hasn't been duped like crazy, to be honest. Bummer it's so much more expensive there, though...it's expensive enough back in the States as it is!

    1. Thanks, Elizabeth!
      I agree with you. I don't know why it hasn't been duped, because it's gorgeous. It seems like jellies and duochromes are the thing to dupe lately. How many Glitter in the Air and Bad Romance dupes have we seen? And I think we're up to about 7 dupes of Peridot now!
