Red Hots

Today I have another two from the HITS Speciallita order I got!

I was really torn between two polishes, so I decided to use both of them! One is Ares, from the No Olimpo holographic collection, and the other is Flamenco from the Danças del Mundo flakies collection.

I used Flamenco as an accent nail on my ring finger. I gotta say, this is one of the best flaky polishes I've ever had! Even though the jelly is super opaque, a lot like Twist, the flakies shine right through. The flakies are primarily gold, but they flash orange and a little green, too.

Ares has a fairly strong holo indoors, but it's nowhere near as powerful as Hera or Dionisio (the purple holo from this collection). This is still a better holo than half of the OPI DS I own. Very saturated formula, so even though it was thin, the pigment covered my nail line really well. This was two thin coats.

The HITS Speciallita bottles are fairly small (6 ml for most of them), but considering how cheap they are, I don't think it's a bad deal. I'm really enjoying getting to try smaller sized bottles. It's especially great here in Japan, where your average OPI or essie costs around $22. So far none of the HITS has disappointed me. Only a few more to swatch before I'm done with my order. =)

Products Used:

Orly Calcium Shield
Essie First Base
NFU OH Aqua base
HITS Speciallita Ares and Flamenco
Seche Vite (I'm using up the last of my bottles)
